The Herrington / Dolan family trees linked to these photo albums, came about from family members saying, "who is that person". The resulting trees contain over 250 individuals (and growing). They are a "best effort" from from family members who just want to know who these ancestors were.

Additionally, the "Genealogical Evidence" link above shows the US Census and other reports accessed to gather much of the family hierarchy shown on this website.
Of special note, Cousin Bart McKee provided much of the history from Kendrick D. Herrington backwards to William Herrington. On the Dolan side of the family, Cousin D. Clark McIntosh published a very detailed history of the Clark / Knox family clan. One small but important part of this history, followed our direct ancestor Elizabeth Ann Clark, backwards to William Thomas Clark. Thank you to these and other family members for their contributions.
